Who can access Y.E.S If you are: Deaf or hearing impaired, looking for work, registered with Centrelink and assessed as eligible for a service funded by the Department of Employment & Workplace Relations then we can assist you. Staff are fluent Auslan users, have an understanding of Deaf culture and ways and have specialist skills to assist the Deaf or poeple who have a hearing impairment. Expectations of you

  • Be able to work for more than 8 hours per week

Referrals You can be referred by Centrelink, JCA, another service, by a family member or by yourself. Job in Jeopardy If you are currently in employment and are not receiving services from another agency, but need help to keep your job then we can assist.


YES have a visiting Psychologist who knows Auslan and has many years experience in vocational rehab and is happy to see any clients of YES free of charge using the GP mental health plan referral. Any one with a hearing impairment is able to access this service by contacting YES, (a small fee applies for non-clients of YES.)
